Allen Meadows - Score: 90-93 (2019 January)

Wisps of herbal tea and spice add interest to the ripe and ultra-fresh aromas of both red and dark currant that are laced with soft earth. There is a bit more volume but much more refinement to the super-sleek, indeed even satin-textured middle weight flavors that possess even better complexity and sneaky good length. I like the balance and this too should be accessible young yet reward up to a decade of bottle age, perhaps even a little more.
