This bottle of 1959 Montrose came from the same lot tasted in 2016, so unsurprisingly it bore similarities. Quite deep in color with commensurate bricking for its age, it has an attractive, charming bouquet of ample red fruit, dried rose petals and a touch of chlorophyll.
