Lurid ruby. Displays intense red berry preserve, potpourri and incense qualities on the assertively perfumed nose. Fleshy and expansive on the palate, offering mineral-accented red and blue fruit and allspice flavors along with subtle hints of candied licorice and cola. Becomes more energetic with air and finishes very long and sweet, displaying velvety tannins and very good focus and persistence.
