Wine Critics Notes:
Allen Meadows - Score: 94(2021 October)
An expressive, ripe and densely fruited nose is both pure and highly spiced where the fruit runs more to the red side of the spectrum, indeed almost like pinot liqueur cut with pretty floral wisps. There are hints of crushed herb, anise and stone on the rich, full and sweet medium full-bodied flavors that are utterly seductive as there is a beguiling succulence to the textured, lacy and gorgeously long finish. To my taste this has just arrived at its peak though it should hold here for years. In a word, terrific.
