Wine Critics Notes:
Allen Meadows - Score: 91-93(2016 January)
A more restrained but equally pretty nose speaks of spiced liqueur-like aromas of various dark berries including cassis, plum and orange pekoe tea. There is a really lovely sense of vibrancy to the more mineral-detailed flavors that are blessed with even more mid-palate density before concluding in a firm, serious and beautifully persistent finale. This well-balanced effort should reward a decade plus of cellaring.
