Wine Critics Notes:

Allen Meadows - Score: 89 (2020 April)

A moderately toasty nose is comprised by fresh and nicely layered aromas of mostly red currant with background hints of pepper, plum and earth. There is acceptable density to the delicious if rustic and round medium weight flavors that possess better mid-palate concentration, all wrapped in a lingering if mildly warm finale. There is enough supporting structure that this should be capable of repaying up to a decade of cellaring if desired though it will likely be approachable after 5-ish years or so.
