Wine Critics Notes:
Allen Meadows - Score: 89(2014 April)
A more elegant if more reticent nose features notes of ripe and cool red cherry, spice, floral and discreet earth scents. The mouth feel is similar to that of the Clos Sorbé with its lush and succulent medium-bodied flavors that exude a fine minerality on the firm finish where the stems are in evidence. This is sufficiently austere that it won't be for everyone and patience will clearly be required.
