Wine Critics Notes:
Allen Meadows - Score: 92(2016 January)
Reduction flattens the nose and I would strongly recommend decanting this for 30 minutes or so if you're tempted to try a bottle before the wine matures. The natural elegance and class of Les Cras is immediately evident in the mouth however the textured, intense and sleekly powerful flavors simply ooze minerality that continues onto the beautifully long, balanced and refreshing finale. This strikingly pretty if moderately austere effort should amply repay 10 to 12 years of cellaring.
