A riper and completely different aromatic profile presents more deeply pitched notes of plum liqueur, cassis, warm earth and a whiff of leather. The very fresh and even racy medium weight flavors possess both excellent minerality and delineation, all wrapped in a solidly persistent if slightly rustic finale. This too is very good and a wine that should amply repay 12 to 15 years of cellaring.
