Wine Critics Notes:

Allen Meadows - Score: 93 (2011 April)

This is really quite a pretty effort and still on the way up with a highly expressive and spicy nose that remains almost completely primary. The rich, full-bodied, broad-shouldered and quite powerful flavors are supported by a firm tannic spine and outstanding length. Moreover, it's possible that this could surprise to the upside if it can add depth with a few more years in bottle but even if it does not, this is already quite a satisfying effort that still needs another 5 to 7 years of cellar time.
