Allen Meadows - Score: 90 (2012 Apr.)

Soft wood frames notably ripe yet fresh aromas of cassis, plum, violets and stone. There is a real sense of volume to the lightly mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that possess plenty of mouth coating dry extract that imparts a velvety texture to the solidly persistent finish. Like several of the wines in the range, there is limited complexity at present though again, this may very well improve with bottle age.
