Allen Meadows - Score: 90-93 (2019 Jan.)

An exuberantly expressive nose blends wonderfully fresh, elegant and bright aromas of spice, violet and earth with those of black raspberry and a hint of wood. The medium-bodied flavors possess a fine sense of underlying tension and delineation plus a refined mouthfeel thanks to both the relatively fine-grained tannins shaping the youthfully austere, complex and lingering finish. Once again, this is really very good and a wine that should age well yet not be unduly compact young.
