The 2011 Meursault Perrières literally explodes from the glass with a head-spinning array of aromas and flavors. Here, too, the Perrières is given an extra dimension of softness by the year, but unlike the Genevrières, the Perrières maintains pretty much all of the vineyard signatures. A spectacular Perrières, the 2011 should also enjoy a long and broad drinking window. What a magnificent wine this is.
