Allen Meadows - Score: 89-91 (2020 January)

A discreet touch of wood frames spicy aromas of dark raspberry, plum and an array of floral nuances and in particular violet. The rich and quite full-bodied flavors coat the palate with sappy dry extract that also does a good job of buffering the firmer tannic spine shaping the complex, firm and sneaky long finish. This is very good and a Gevrey villages that is worth checking out.
