Allen Meadows - Score: 90-92 (2020 January)

A very pungent nose combines notes of reduction and wood with plenty of spice and floral influences. As is always the case, the medium weight plus flavors possess better mid-palate concentration as well as more power and richness, all wrapped in a robust, firm and built-to-age finish. It's relatively rare to find villages level wines of this quality.
