Medium color. Faintly leathery, smoky, coffee-scented nose, with a slight herbaceousness. Quite rich but restrained, with very good extract; seamless despite being unevolved. Lingering fruit on the aftertaste. This nicely structured wine should develop more nuance with several years of bottle age.
