Allen Meadows - Score: 92-95 (2016 January)

Firm reduction dominates the nose. Otherwise there is lovely verve and freshness to the incredibly rich and enveloping medium-bodied flavors that also completely coat the palate with sappy dry extract, all wrapped in a dusty, intense, tight and very seriously finish that delivers sneaky good length. This isn't quite as complex as the Chapelle, at least not yet, though it may very well match it in time. This too is seriously good.
