This is notably ripe with cassis, red and blue pinot fruit and touches of animale and earth, both of which are reflected by the concentrated, serious and detailed flavors that possess excellent volume, power and muscle, all wrapped in a long if moderately austere finish. As Morinière noted, this is very Corton yet admirably elegant and pure.
