An exceptionally ripe nose in the context of the vintage is comprised by notes of mocha, warm earth, plum, dark berries and a lovely array of floral elements. The succulent and full-bodied flavors possess fine mid-palate concentration that buffers the notably firm tannins shaping the balanced if muscular and moderately austere finale. This too is definitely built to age and will require extended forbearance.
