A touch of wood sets off the overly spicy dark berry fruit and earth aromas. There is a highly seductive texture to the medium-bodied flavors as the shaping tannins are ultra-fine, which imparts a silkiness to the detailed, long and harmonious finish. This is class in a glass with a lush and generous quality that will allow it to drink well young though it should develop well too.
