This is also firmly reduced though a bit less than the Clos St. Jean. Otherwise there is better freshness and vibrancy to the medium-bodied flavors that possess fine mid-palate volume though once again the finish is slightly lean and chewy though not really dry. Again, it's possible that this will eventually harmonize as the supporting tannins do appear to be ripe but like its stablemate this didn't show to its usual level.
