Wine Critics Notes:

Allen Meadows - Score: 91 (2015 Oct.)

An expressive and broad-ranging nose offers up notes of pear, sea water, oyster shell, white peach, citrus and a soft spice nuance. There is good punch to the intensely mineral-driven middle weight flavors that culminate in an intense and markedly dry but not especially austere finish that is also admirably well-balanced and persistent. This seductive yet punchy effort should be accessible young if desired yet keep reasonably well.

Vinous - Score: 91-93 (2014 Aug.)

High-toned aromatics lift from the glass in the 2013 Chablis Sechet. Mirabelle plums, kirsch and Poire William meld into honey and sweet fruit in a layered, highly expressive Seches. There is plenty of early appeal, yet the 2013 also has enough depth to develop nicely in the cellar for a number of years. This is a lovely showing.
