This is turning out to be even better than I originally envisioned with its classic nose offering plenty of Chablis character on the cool, pure and airy aromas that are comprised mostly of smoky white orchard fruit and various citrus scents. The racy, intense and overtly mineral-driven medium weight flavors possess a lovely mouth feel before culminating in a textured, balanced and saline finish that is both bone dry and tightly wound. As one would reasonably expect given how young this is, the '14 Forêt is very much still on the way up and while I opened a bottle out of curiosity, I would strongly advise allowing this beauty to at least reach its 10th birthday first.
