This is distinctly cool and restrained but the red and dark pinot fruit is ripe and there is a lovely mélange of attractive spice notes. There is good complexity to the lilting and lightly mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that are shaped by refined tannins and fine depth on the lingering finish. Really quite lovely.
