Allen Meadows - Score: 88-91 (2019 Jun.)

A background whiff of matchstick character sets off the spice, citrus and apple scents that are trimmed in just enough wood to notice. There is excellent richness and mid-palate density to the punchy and even more mineral-driven flavors that deliver fine length on the bone dry finish. This too is very good and while it could be enjoyed young, it should also repay a few years of bottle age.
