Ripe apricot, honey, mint and dried almonds fill out the layers effortlessly. In 2018, Elaine and Manfred Krankl made the decision to give their white a bit more time in barrel, a decision that paid off handsomely. Aperta is 38% Chardonnay, 25% Viognier, 22% Roussanne, 9% Muscat and 6% Petit Manseng, mostly from Eleven Confessions and Bien Nacido.
