Wine Critics Notes:

Allen Meadows - Score: 88-91 (2017 Oct.)

This too exhibits enough reduction to render the nose difficult to evaluate. More obviously mineral-driven middle weight flavors possess both excellent detail and intensity while coating the palate with sappy dry extract on the wonderfully refreshing, dry and focused finale. This is a fine effort for the appellation.

Vinous - Score: 90 (2017 Nov.)

(from low-yielding east-facing 60-to-80-year-old vines planted on the mid-slope, with clay under a layer of limestone; done in one-third foudres and two-thirds demi-muids): Bright lemon-yellow. Sexy mineral-driven aromas of lemon, lime and mint. Delivers an old-vines concentration to its subtly sweet, deep flavors of citrus fruits and minerals. Sappy, tactile and dry, with the extract to buffer its brisk acidity. But this long wine has the spine for a graceful evolution in bottle.
