Allen Meadows - Score: 88-90 (2019 January)

A softly oaked and appealingly spicy nose combines moderately deeply pitched aromas of plum, dark currant and violet. The succulent but still nicely detailed lighter weight flavors also possess a lovely sense of verve though the more serious and slightly firmer finish renders this less like to drink quite so well in its immediate youth.
