Soft reduction pushes the fruit to the background though the spice and wood nuances peek through. There is both good energy and detail to the sleekly muscular and lightly stony medium-bodied flavors that terminate in a mocha-inflected and slightly firmer finish. This is definitely on the riper side but not so much that it becomes heavy or plodding.
