Brilliant violet. Black and blue fruit, smoky bacon, olive and violet aromas are enlivened by a jolt of peppery spices. Fleshy and broad on the palate, offering gently sweet boysenberry, blueberry and floral pastille flavors that tighten up slowly with aeration. Densely packed yet lively as well, finishing with sharp delineation, rounded tannins and strong persistence.
