This is the freshest wine in the range, which is not surprising given its position on the hillside, with its attractively cool, pure and elegant aromas of red cherry, anise, spiced tea and ample floral elements. There is terrific delineation to the vibrant and intensely stony medium weight flavors that exhibit excellent persistence on the lingering and restrained finale. This is really very good though it's going to require at least some bottle age to unwind and flesh out.
