Allen Meadows - Score: 90-92 (2014 January)

An attractively spicy nose also features aromas of pungently earthy dark berry fruit that includes cassis and plum. This also displays a really lovely mouth feel as the tannins are fine and there is plenty of palate coating dry extract that adds a sense of volume to the middle weight flavors as well as coats the palate on the mildly austere and highly complex finish. This is good stuff and if this adds depth my range could be conservative.
