Wine Critics Notes:

Allen Meadows - Score: 87-89 (2019 October)

An overtly spicy nose features plenty of earth and humus character on the very ripe, even liqueur-like, aromas. There is fine volume and richness to the supple yet serious flavors that are shaped by bold and overtly rustic tannins on the noticeably warm finish. This will need at least a few years of bottle age as it's presently quite chewy and robust.
