The NV Rosé Brut Grand Cru is another gorgeous Champagne from Paul Bara. Rich, resonant and super-inviting, the Brut Rosé has so much to offer. I especially admire the wine's breadth and expansiveness, both of which give it the versatility to drink beautifully as an aperitif or at the dinner table. The blend is 80% Pinot Noir (including 12% still Pinot) and 20% Chardonnay. Dosage of 8 grams per liter feels a bit on the high side, but this is nevertheless an absolutely joyous Champagne.
