An appealingly spicy nose consists primarily of violet and decidedly ripe black cherry aromas. The mouthfeel of the medium weight flavors is surprisingly supple and pliant and while the finish offers excellent intensity, it is also raspy, short and a bit drying. Again, this is tough to read due to the abundant level of gas but the tannins don't seem completely ripe.
