Wine Critics Notes:

Allen Meadows - Score: 89 (2019 Jun.)

A more elegant nose combines notes of various white orchard fruit aromas with those of petrol, resin and a discreet touch of wood. The sleek, caressing and plump medium-bodied flavors possess solid mid-palate density while exhibiting fine depth on the citrusy, clean and agreeable dry and refreshing finish. While this supple effort could actually be enjoyed young, I would be inclined to give it 4 to 7 years of cellar time first.

Vinous - Score: 87-89 (2019 Sep.)

(tasted from a new barrel): Pure aromas of pear, spices and menthol. Sweet, easygoing wine with fairly soft acidity but adequate cut to its ripe flavors of lemon drop and flowers. Finishes with good balance and persistence. This wine should offer early pleasure.
