While this remains strikingly elegant and pure, the ripe nose of white flowers, spiced pear, iodine and oyster shell is also displays some development along with a deft touch of oak. There is fine concentration to the round, caressing and if not exactly soft, then certainly forward medium-bodied flavors that exude a fine minerality on the admirably persistent finish. This is really quite good and still developing slowly and while it could certainly be enjoyed now, I would be inclined to allow it another 3 to 5 years of cellar time first. Note that I have had this several times over the past few years and some bottles seem a bit more advanced than others though not in the sense of premox.
