There was some debate among those present as to whether there was a trace of TCA lurking in the background, to me it was a cork impurity rather than actual corkiness. Be that as it may, the nose is composed of exotic secondary aromas that offer up notes of white peach, lychee, spice and just enough Chablis character to be convincing. The exceptionally rich broad-shouldered flavors coat the palate while flashing a subtle minerality on the clean and dry if mildly warm finish. While this has clearly arrived at its peak, it should continue to hold if well-stored.
