Wine Critics Notes:
Allen Meadows - Score: 92-94(2020 January)
As is usually the case, this is less spicy but more floral with its earthy array of sauvage-inflected dark berry fruit aromas. The sleek, intense and attractively textured broad-shouldered flavors possess focused power while the lingering and youthfully austere finish offers excellent depth. The tannins are fine but definitely firm and this will require extended cellaring to reveal its full potential.
