Wine Critics Notes:

Vinous - Score: 93+ (Apr. 2013)

Amber-tinged red; this seems almost too evolved for its age. Expressive aromas of dark cherry, spicy forest floor and graphite. Shows more spicy nuances on the palate, with very deep, ripe red cherry, cassis and tobacco flavors lingering nicely on the finish. Tannins are well buffered by the wine's mid-palate material. Great stuff, and still very young in spite of its color. Probably best from 2016, and should last for decades beyond that.
