Dark purple. Seductively perfumed dark berry, floral oil, smoky mineral and olive paste scents show sharp delineation and spicy lift. Offers palate-staining blackberry, bitter cherry and violet pastille flavors that steadily deepen and spread out through the mid-palate. Distinctly rich, in the way of the vintage, but energetic as well, with a strikingly long finish that features youthfully chewy tannins and lingering floral and exotic spice qualities.
