An almost invisible touch of wood frames more reserved but fresher green and yellow fruit aromas that also offer up a subtle touch of spice that complements the round and wonderfully intense flavors that ooze that lovely sense of underlying tension as well as plenty of oyster shell character on the citrus-infused and very dry palate staining finish. A wine of power and finesse that should age out to 15 years or so.
